We Are
MISSION STATEMENT
The Central Florida Computer Society
(CFCS) is a charitable, scientific and educational organization
formed to encourage interest in the operation and development
of computers, in general, for the benefit of the members
of the Society and the general public.
Incorporated in February of 1982, we endeavor to facilitate the free exchange
of information among those with an interest in computer science in the Central
Florida area and support and encourage the teaching of computer techniques.

CFCS is Central Florida's largest PC user group, made up of
close to 300 computer enthusiasts from novice to expert.

We hold general meetings on the 3rd Sunday of each month. Location and details can be found on the home page. These
gatherings feature computer-related presentations by software
and hardware suppliers, as well as opportunities for members
to exchange technical information of interest to all.
We also support numerous Special Interest Groups (SIGs) that
meet at various times throughout each month. These include basic
word processing, data base, and spreadsheet software programs,
as well as specialized areas of interest covering graphics, financial
investing, Internet, publishing, networking, and hardware maintenance.

Events CFCS
supports during the year are varied and include Microsoft,
MarketPro Computer Show, County Fair and other Computer and Technology
Shows. CFCS

Vendor Presentations: Many
software companies support CFCS and attend our General Meetings
to demonstrate their products. A description of the meetings. topics
