July 2004 CFCS Meeting
MSN Broadband Experience
If you missed the General
Meeting on Sunday, July
18th, you missed a very
interesting presentation
made by Matt McCann.
He is truly an expert and
did a great job of presenting
MSN Premium Services.
He moved around the
keyboard with ease and kept us
wanting more as he showed us
the great features of this premium
service.
Matt is a dynamic“fun presenter” who not only
knows his material but makes
you want something
you didn’t
even know you
were missing.
You can optimize your broadband
with MSN Premium free
for four months with Gift
Memberships he gave those
in attendance. Then again if you missed the meeting, visit the MSN site at:
www.msn.com where you will find an offer for 3
months membership at no charge. This
service runs $9.95 a month but a trial
membership has “no strings attached” and
ends when the membership expires if you
don’t elect to continue.
The premium service includes McAfee®Online Virus Guard and Firewall Protection
as well as Encarta Plus which makes this
a real “value added product”. It also has
advanced junk email protection and Popup
Guard. If that isn’t enough it has Microsoft
Picture It ®Photo Software.
Give it a“free” try and see it for yourself.
Microsoft showed its support for User
Groups. Matt had with him all kinds of
goodies.
Two copies of XP Office Suite
Professional 2003 come to mind as well as
Picture it Pro, MS Works, MS Streets and Trips and
two annual memberships to the Premium Service.
The people in the audience with questions were rewarded
with Black MSN Logo T-shirts.
CFCS thanks Microsoft for sending Matt
McCann to Orlando for this presentation.
Also, thanks to Matt for being so well prepared
and dynamic in his presentation.
